Meet Clinical Lead, Andy.

Andy began his veterinary journey by earning a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Pretoria in 1994. He then pursued further education, including a William Magrane Basic Science course in Veterinary Ophthalmology at North Carolina State University and a certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology at the Royal Veterinary College London in 2005.

Before joining Eye Vet, Andy served as a partner at a 10-veterinarian mixed practice in South Africa, where he managed an Ophthalmology referral service. Corneal surgery and Cataract surgery are among his areas of expertise. When he’s not working, Andy enjoys trail running, hiking, and walking his four dogs, as well as caring for his pet cat.
