Eye Vet is a dedicated ophthalmology referral centre based in the heart of Cheshire. We provide ophthalmology services for small animals (and some off site large animals) with ocular disease and/or emergencies.

Our ophthalmologists are veterinary surgeons who have all undertaken post-graduate training in veterinary ophthalmology. We have a large a team of registered veterinary nurses, also trained in ophthalmology, to look after you and your pet. We have on-site anaesthetists to oversee all sedation/anaesthetics, in order to ensure that your pet receives the best care possible whilst they are with us. The clinic is fully equipped with the most up-to-date ophthalmic equipment, so that our team can fully investigate ocular problems and offer the best treatment for your pet. Such equipment cannot be found in your regular vets, hence your referral to our dedicated ophthalmic clinic.

We are passionate about eyes, and pride ourselves on providing gold standard of care for you and your pet.

How do I get my pet referred?

Animals need to be referred to Eye Vet via your first opinion vet. We regret that we cannot accept referral forms directly from pet owners and ask you to please visit your veterinarian if you would like to be referred to Eye Vet. Once we receive all relevent information from your vet, we will contact you to offer you an appointment. All consultations are by appointment only. Appointments and appointment times will be offered on a ‘case specific’ basis. Cases deemed an emergency or urgent will be contacted promptly based on this nature.
